Our Spring Concert at the Barrington Centre was a great success.

The Band are delighted to announce that we will be performing at Hampton Court Palace on Sunday 30th June as part of London Band Week.

On 15th November we celebrated the King's Award for Voluntary Service during the meeting at Glenmoor and Winton Academy. Many parents joined us for the celebrations.

The Band raised £410 for the Poppy Appeal at their Remembrance Concert. The Concert was held at the Ferndown Royal British Legion. We were joined by our guests - the pipers from Ringwood Pipe Band and singer Emily Cotton.

BYMB Awards Night, 2nd March 24. Well done to everyone and thanks to Major Craig Bywater.

What a brilliant day at TYMBAFest.  The wind band alone had 97 musicians plus the Corps of Drums and Mallets from BYMB and 6 other traditional style youth marching bands. The wind band music was ‘Downtown’ and ‘Doctor Who’, the mallets worked on ‘You’ve Got a Friend in Me’, and the Corps of Drums rehearsed the drum static ‘Allied Victory’.

Here's the small army of volunteers sorting the new music folders for the rehearsals and upcoming concerts and filing away the Christmas and last year's music. 

It's been a busy Christmas season for the Band with a Concert, 2 performances at the Alpine Market, Carols on the Petwyn and Parley Place Care Home.

Through November Band members, helpers and families collected groceries for donation to local food-banks in West Moors and Kinson.

The Band led the Remembrance Sunday Parade and the Service around the memorial in West Moors. There was a big crowd showing their respects as usual.
